Multiple legal controversies confront actor Ajaz Khan because the Mumbai Police filed a rape case following accusations of rape from a 30-year-old woman. The police assert that Khan exploited the woman by abusing her sexually while pretending to connect her to roles in the film industry. A proper investigation performed under the relevant Rape-related sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita proceeds.
The news emerges following Khan’s involvement in another scandal concerning alleged obscene content discovered in his web show House Arrest on the Ullu app. Several critics view the production as containing excessive, inappropriate material which imprudently portrays women. Bajrang Dal activist Gautam Ravriya filed the complaint about the matter at Amboli Police Station. Through his complaint, Ravriya accused the show of using offensive language along with offensive scenes, which violated the modesty of women.
House Arrest content received wholehearted condemnation from various people who sent Ravriya multiple messages about the show’s offensive material. The circulation of a House Arrest video clip that showed Khan putting pressure on female contestants to do intimate acts while asking lewd questions increased public anger to unmanageable levels.
Police issued legal charges to Rajkumar Pandey, who produces Ullu app shows and additional members working for the app, after receiving the complaint. The authorities charged them with violations of three legislations: the BNS, along with both the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
Legal issues have begun to multiply for Ajaz Khan because he now faces charges of obscenity and rape which have been prosecuted swiftly one after the other.
