Bihar Election Results: The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) took a wide lead over the INDIA bloc, known as the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, across several constituencies in early trends shortly after the counting of votes in the Bihar assembly elections 2025 began at 8 am on Friday.
Forty-six counting centers have been set up in 38 districts for the counting. By 12 noon, the fate of 2,616 candidates will be virtually finalized. This includes 29 ministers from the Nitish Kumar government and 15 strongmen, including Anant Singh.
At 9 am, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United)-led NDA was ahead in at least 99 seats, close to the majority mark of 122. The RJD and Congress-led Mahagathbandhan was ahead in over 60 seats.

According to the initial trends of postal ballot, Chhoti Kumari is leading from Chapra and Khesari Lal Yadav is trailing.
