New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to take oath on June 8 as NDA grabs majority in Lok Sabha Elections 2024, sources informed. The new cabinet of Union Ministers will also take oath on the same day. The 17th Lok Sabha cabinet also recommended its dissolution today.
Meanwhile, President Draupadi Murmu will host a farewell dinner for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Union Council of Ministers tonight.
The outgoing cabinet’s farewell dinner will be hosted at Rashtrapati Bhavan, one day after the Lok Sabha results for the 2024 general elections are announced. The term of the 17th Lok Sabha ends on June 16, and a new government will be established before then.
