The elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand are over and now everyone is waiting for the election results. Everyone wants to know who will form the next government in both the states and what do the people think? Will they take back the current government or vote in favour of change? Voting took place in Maharashtra on November 20, while in Jharkhand on November 13 and 20. The counting of votes will take place on November 23, in which a close contest will be seen for 288 seats and 82 seats. Meanwhile, people’s eyes are fixed on the assembly elections of these two states.

Counting of votes for Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections will begin at 8 am. First the postal ballot papers will be counted, then the EVM boxes will be opened and the votes will be counted. After 8 pm, people will know the results of the elections in the next few moments.

Meanwhile, Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge has assigned important responsibilities to senior leaders to monitor the situation after the upcoming elections. Kharge has appointed AICC observers to assess the electoral scenario in various states of the party.

Results on November 23

The election campaign for by-elections to 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra and 81 seats in Jharkhand will end on Monday. Counting of votes for by-elections to 48 assembly seats in 15 states and two Lok Sabha seats will also take place on November 23.

Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024

According to the MATRIZE exit poll, polling on 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand shows that the Congress alliance may get 25–30 seats, BJP alliance 27–42 seats and others may get 1–4 seats. Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party won 30 seats in the 2019 Jharkhand assembly elections. BJP won 25 seats, RJD party won 1 seat and Congress won 16 seats.
