Registration for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 is set to close to the day September 8, 2025. Applicants who have not registered can use the direct registration portal on the official website of TRB TN at trb.tn.gov.in.
The period following the registration can be described as the correction window between September 9 and 11, 2025, where the candidates can update their applications accordingly. The TNTET 2025 exam will be conducted on November 15 and 16, 2025. Paper I shall be on November 15 and Paper II on November 16.
The test shall be in an offline mode of exam, based on OMR. The papers will contain 150 multiple-choice questions and will last three hours each. It is strongly recommended that the candidates should examine the official notification in detail to understand the information about the eligibility and educational qualifications.
The application procedure is not complicated, and it can be filled in online. Applicants need to:
- Go to TRB TN official site.
- On the home page, where there is the TNTET 2025 registration, click.
- Enter account information to open an account.
- Register, complete the application form, and pay the exam fee.
- Enter the form, save the confirmation page and retain a hard copy to use later.
General category candidates are charged an examination fee of 600, and students in the SC, SCA, ST, and Differently Abled Persons categories have to pay an examination fee of 300. Viewers are required to pay through an online payment gateway in net banking, credit card or debit card.
