New Delhi: During her address to both Houses of Parliament this term, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, stressed the government’s specific focus and determination to look into the occurrences of paper leaks and exam malpractices. Against the background of recent NEET examination scandals, President Murmu underlined that there is no greater value than the purity of the state’s recruitment and examinations.
In a speech to the 18th Lok Sabha, President Murmu reiterated the government’s commitment to creating favourable environment that makes it possible for youngsters in India to dream and excel. She agreed with the problems coming with interruptions to examination conductivity, stating that the significance of the process’s respect was paramount.
Moreover, President Murmu elaborated on measures being undertaken to improve the functioning of the National Testing Agency and the polymerization of examination. She stressed that constant efforts were being made to maintain peace and stability in Northeast India, pointing to recent achievements achieved in the resolution of long-standing issues, as well as the stoppage of AFSPA in disturbed areas with phased developmental measures.
Thus, looking forward to the Union Budget in the near future, President Murmu has also raised high expectations regarding new policy implementation and crucial socio-economic change. She presented the budget as a strategic tool that would signify the government’s visionary plan and its adherence to the tenets of growth.
In his remarks on economic development in India, President Murmu applauded India for its swift rise to the status of the world’s fastest-growing major economy. She explained that India had moved from being the 11th largest economy in the world to the fifth largest, with average growth of 8 percent between 2021 and 2024.
Addressing the final remarks, President Murmu reiterated the spirit of the slogan of the government’s path of Reforms, Performance, and Transformation for the advancement and enhancement of India’s economy in the international scenario.
