The GSHSEB, or GSEB, has put out the official timetables for the 2025 board exams for SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12). The schedules for the candidates of both divisions are available in detail on the official website of the Gujarat Board, i.e., gseb.org. As per the notice, the SSC exams will start on February 27 and will end on March 10, 2025. At the same time, the HSC examinations will be conducted between February 27 and March 13, 2025.

Apart from the exam dates, the Gujarat board has recently released class-wise specific subject question papers for students of standard 9 to 12th. These resources are available from the GSEB website for downloading, but to download them for use, one has to input school details. It is an initiative under which the availability of numerous practice materials will be beneficial in students’ preparations for their exams.

In the previous year, the candidates passed the planned 2024 SSC and HSC supplementary examinations’ outcomes were released in July. Last year, 1,28,337 students registered for the SSC supplementary examinations, of which 1,04,429 candidates sat for the examination. It was found that only 39542 students passed, which translated to 28.29% of students’ pass rate in the examination.

In the case of supplementary examination for the HSC Science stream, 22927 candidates registered, and out of them, 22716 candidates appeared. Of them, 8,143 have passed the exam and made a pass percentage of 30.48%. A little better was observed in the general stream, where 56,459 candidates were offered for supplementary examination. In total, 49,122 students sat for the exam, of which 24,196 were successful; the pass rate last stood at 49.26%.

These statistics point out the need for the student to work extra hard in preparation for the board tests.
