IIT Roorkee will be conducting the much-awaited Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in February 2025. In a press release issued today, the institution informed the dates for conducting the GATE 2025 are February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th.

GATE 2025 expands now and encompasses over 30 exam papers with two new inclusions Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (NM) and Geomatics Engineering (GE).
GATE 2025: Exam Format
The exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted in multiple sessions in various cities in India. It consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. Both sections assess your comprehensive understanding of core engineering and science concepts.
The application process shall begin in August 2024. Candidates can apply to appear for one or two test papers allowed in some combinations. Scores obtained will remain valid for a period of the next 3 years from the date of announcement of results.
Candidates must design a well-structured plan to excel in GATE 2025. Candidates can utilize the official syllabus for papers, utilize previous papers and mock test papers to identify strengths and weaknesses.
