The University of Delhi is organising a placement and internship drive between February 10 and 21, 2025 for its students. Central Placement Cell (CPC), Dean Student’s Welfare, will organise this placement drive for students enrolled in regular undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs are eligible to participate in the drive.

There is no registration fee for participation. The recruitment drive will be conducted in offline mode and students can participate between February 10 to 21, 2025.

Delhi University’s undergraduate admissions for 2024 have seen a massive surge in applications, with over 2.45 lakh students vying for approximately 71,600 seats. This translates to a fierce competition, with roughly 34 students competing for every available spot.

The university has implemented the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admissions, and the first round of seat allocation has already concluded. Over 83,000 students have secured their seats, exceeding the university’s capacity, which indicates their strategy to accommodate maximum students.

While the exact number of students who will eventually enroll is yet to be finalized, it’s clear that Delhi University continues to be a sought-after destination for higher education in India.
