The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) may soon announce the date and time when Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results are going to be published for 2025. When the results are announced, students are able to log on to the official cbse website, cbse.gov.in, and check their scores. To check class 10 results, students will need to enter their roll and school numbers, admit card ID, and date of birth. Apart from the CBSE website, the results will be available through Digi Locker and the UMANG application on mobiles, so the students can fetch their scores from various other digital portals.
The Class 10 board exams were taken from February 15 – March 1, while the Class 12 exams were carried out from February 15 – April 4, 2025. All the examination schedules of the class 10 and 12 papers of the year 2025 were condensed into a single slot of 10.30 am to 1.30 pm at various testing locations.
One of the biggest changes made by the CBSE this year was in the way they approach dealing with results. Earlier, students had to first check their marks, after which photocopies of the marked answer sheet had to be obtained, with the name of the student then subtracted, and then request a re-evaluation; the board has now simplified this sequence since students can now access answer sheet photocopies first.
CBSE explains that when students hold the evaluated answer sheet copy, they are free to choose between the option of seeking mark verification, requesting re-evaluation of some answers, or both. During verification, students may recheck for miscalculations or missed questions, whereas during re-evaluation, students have the opportunity to ask for a recheck of their particular ones. With these changes, CBSE wishes to help the students understand the basis of their marks and keep open assessment procedures.
