The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to initiate the CBSE Board Exam 2024 starting February 15. Scheduled to continue until March 13 for Class 10 and April 2 for Class 12, this year’s exams will witness over 39 lakh candidates from 26 countries participating.
To ensure a fair and smooth examination process, the CBSE has issued comprehensive guidelines for students. The exams for both Class 10 and 12 are slated to begin at 10:30 am, with varying end times. While most papers will conclude at 1:30 pm, some will end at 12:30 pm. Students are strongly advised to arrive at their respective exam centers at least 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled start.
Candidates must adhere to specific instructions during the examination:
- Arrive at the exam center 30 to 45 minutes before the commencement at 10:30 am.
- Carry the admit card and other documents mentioned in it on all exam days.
- Bring personal stationery, including a blue or black ballpoint pen, pencil, and eraser.
- Prohibit electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators in the examination hall.
- Thoroughly read the instructions on the question paper and questions before responding.
- Avoid writing anything on the question papers.
- Refrain from leaving the examination hall without permission.
- Abstain from talking or engaging in any unfair practices during the exam.
Candidates in Delhi are advised to leave their homes early, with the option to utilize metro services for timely arrival at exam centers. Additionally, the CBSE has released a crucial notice cautioning against rumors and fake information that may circulate during the exam period.
The guidelines aim to create a conducive and fair examination environment, emphasizing punctuality, preparedness, and adherence to ethical conduct.
