Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2025 notification has been released officially by the Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) on its official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. Those who are interested in getting hired as a constable in the force of Bihar Police and Bihar Special Armed Police can check the full notification online accordingly.
Key Dates and Vacancy Details
Around per the official notification, the personal home of the online purpose will begin on March 18, 2025 and will remain till April 18, 2025. It is expected to fill a total of 19,838 vacancies through this recruitment drive. Of these, 6,717 have been horizontally reserved for women to increase women representation in the police force.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed class 12, also known as Intermediate examination, from any recognised board or other equivalent qualification. Candidates learned to pass with the Bhumihar, Matayam, or the qualification of Maulvi passed from the Bihar Madrasa Board or Shastri / Acharya (with English) are also eligible if they satisfy the educational requirement by April 18, 2025.
Application Fee
The amount of application fee for general category candidates is ₹675. But candidates from the BC and SC/ST categories in Bihar, all women applicants and transgender applicants will have to pay a reduced fee of ₹180.
