The results for AP TET conducted in July have been declared on Monday by the Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh.
The students who wrote the examination can now check their marks memos online by going to aptet.apcfss.in and putting their hall ticket number and date of birth. Overall, this year, a total of 368661 candidates appeared for this exam, out of which 187256 candidates cleared the exam, and the pass percentage recorded this year was only 50.79 %.
Minister Lokesh further said that the government is ready for the next mega District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment notification which is planned shortly. At first, the results were meant to be announced on Nov 2, but news reports suggested that the delay in releasing the final answer key led to the shifting of the date.
Similarly, the AP DSC recruitment notification awaited is likely to be issued on November 6, and the teaching job aspirants are eagerly awaiting the notification. The candidates will seek the results through login details available, and the exam-conducting School Education Department of Andria Pradesh will release pass certificates for the qualifying candidates. Perhaps it needs to be highlighted that these pass certificates are going to be immortal for the lifetime benefits of successful candidates.
Originally planned for August 5 – 20, the AP TET examination was delayed to give candidates a better chance of preparation, proving that the Department is not out to favor any candidate. Before the declaration of the result, the answer keys of all the papers of the AP TET 2024 were released so that the candidate can check their answers.
For candidates, it has been set at 60% for the open category participants and 50% for the BC category participants. It is set at 40 % for SC, ST, ex-servicemen, and for the differently abled candidates giving every type of candidate an equal and fair chance in the examination.
