New Delhi: Women are at the centre of the BJP’s welfare measures, said Union Minister JP Nadda today as he released the first part of the party’s manifesto for the February 5 elections in Delhi. The senior BJP leader also assured the voters that all public welfare schemes will continue in the capital as he went on to accuse the ruling AAP of corruption.
The BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ promises one-time financial assistance of Rs 21,000 and six nutritional kits to pregnant women, besides Rs 5,000 for the first child and Rs 6,000 for the second child.

With this it has also become clear that BSP will not contest the elections in alliance with anyone. Talking about the popular candidates released by BSP, Virendra has been given ticket from New Delhi seat. Former Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal is in the electoral fray from this seat. Ravindra Kumar has been made the candidate from Jangpura. Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is contesting from this seat. BSP has given ticket to Kalicharan from Chandni Chowk seat.
Voting will be held on February 5 for a total of 70 seats of Delhi Assembly. Today is the last date for nomination for this. Nominations will be scrutinized on January 18. Candidates will be able to withdraw their names till January 20. Voting (Delhi Assembly Election Voting 2025) will be held on February 5 i.e. Wednesday. The results (Delhi Assembly Election Result 2025) will be declared on February 8 (Saturday).
