Bhopal. A shocking incident of gang rape of a woman has come to light in the capital Bhopal. According to family members, the woman left home to fill petrol in her car but did not return for a long time. When her father and brother searched for her, they found no trace of her. The woman returned home unconscious at around 2:30 am.

While narrating her ordeal to her family, the woman said that four to five unidentified men forcibly took her into a car from the petrol pump at the Manohar Dairy bus stand. There, she was gang-raped and beaten. Her family immediately rushed her to Hamidia Hospital. Doctors say her condition remains critical.
Police investigation begins
Police arrived at the scene as soon as they received information about the incident. The matter is currently being divided between the Hanumanganj and Mangalwara police station areas. At the time of writing, it was unclear whether the incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Hanumanganj or Mangalwara police station. A police team from Mangalwara police station arrived at Hamidia Hospital and is questioning the woman and her family. Police from both police stations are investigating the case, and the process of filing an FIR is expected to be completed soon.
Search for the accused
Police have launched a search for four to five unidentified men. CCTV footage and nearby petrol pumps are being examined. Further action will be taken based on the woman’s health report and her statement.
