Greater Noida Dowry Murder Case: The Uttar Pradesh Police has made the third arrest in the Greater Noida dowry murder case, nabbing the deceased Nikki Bhati’s brother-in-law on Monday morning. According to police, on the afternoon of August 21, the day Nikki was killed, the couple had an argument about her wanting to reopen a beauty parlour with her sister Kanchan.

Nikki’s mother-in-law was arrested on Sunday, while her husband, Vipin Bhati, accused of murdering her over dowry demands, was nabbed on Saturday.

Police made a shocking revelation in the Greater Noida Dowry Murder Case as it said the dispute began when Nikki and her sister told her husband, Vipin, that they were going to reopen their beauty parlor. When Vipin opposed the plan, Nikki stood her ground, declaring that no one could stop them. According to Kasna station house officer Dharmendra Shukla, the confrontation occurred around 3:30 PM.

The argument escalated when Vipin told Nikki that creating social media reels and running a parlor were not “allowed” in his family. After she insisted on moving forward with her plans, he began to physically assault her.

The horrifying incident, which occurred on Thursday night, was witnessed by Nikki’s young son and her elder sister, Kanchan, who is also married into the same family. Nikki’s family staged protests outside Kasna Police Station, demanding justice. Police have registered a case and formed multiple teams for investigation. Demonstrations continue as authorities probe the horrifying incident.

A candle march was held in Greater Noida to pay tribute in the dowry case, raising voices against dowry deaths and demanding strict action, justice, and awareness to end this social evil.
