In an incident, a 19-year-old girl was reportedly abducted and endured a traumatising ordeal of gang rape for a distressing period of 20 days by five men, as mentioned in the police reports on Monday (Oct 30). Shockingly two women were also said to be involved in this crime. The Sambhal Kotwali police station has filed an FIR against all seven individuals under sections.
The investigation into this case is being led by the Station House Officer (SHO) Anoop Sharma. He revealed that all seven accused are currently evading capture, with no arrests made so far. According to the victim’s statement, Asim and Mohd Arshad kidnapped her on September 27. They allegedly drugged her and transported her to Ashiq Khan’s residence in Moradabad district, where she suffered assaults from all three men involved. Faiz Alam and Soni Hussain joined these three accused individuals, and subjected the young girl to multiple assaults.
In her complaint, the survivor disclosed that two women named Zeba Khan and Saira Begum supported the accused in their actions. Finally, on October 12 she managed to escape from the house and reunite with her family. Because of her deteriorating mental health, her brother made the decision to have her admitted to a hospital. Once she was released, she chose to proceed with filing a report, with the police.
