Indore: The charge sheet has been presented in the famous Raja Raghuvanshi murder case of Indore. Raja’s family wants to know the details related to this horrific incident. Regarding this, Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanshi has asked for a copy of the charge sheet from the court.

The SIT of Meghalaya Police filed a chargesheet in the Shillong court on September 6, i.e. after 97 days, before the first class judicial magistrate of Sohra subdivision. According to which, a case has been registered against Sonam, Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Singh Chauhan, Akash Singh Rajput and Anand Kurmi under sections 103 (1), 238 (A) and 61 (2) of the Indian Penal Code. The other three accused property dealer Shilom James, flat owner Lokendra Tomar and security guard Balbir, are charged with destroying evidence.

Indore’s transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi got married to Sonam on 11 May. On 20 May, Raja and Sonam left for Meghalaya from Indore for their honeymoon. On 22 May, both of them left for Sohra, during which they also hired an Activa. On 24 June, the family lost contact with Raja and Sonam. After which the search for both of them started from 27 May. During this, on 2 June, Raja Raghuvanshi’s body was found in a deep ditch in Wei Sawdong. The postmortem report revealed that he was murdered.

Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police started looking for Sonam and she was arrested from a dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. After Sonam was caught, many revelations were made. In this entire case, the police arrested 8 people. Out of which five accused are still in judicial custody. Property dealer Shilom James, Lokendra Tomar and security guard Balbir, all three are on bail.
