Prayagraj: In Prayagraj, a shocking incident occurred on Friday involving a BTech student who attacked a bus conductor with a chopper while shouting slogans. The injured conductor, Harikesh Vishwakarma, from the Electricity bus, is currently receiving treatment at SRN Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where efforts are being made to stabilize his condition.
The attacker has been identified as Lareb Hashmi, a first-year BTech student who had previously engaged in an argument with Vishwakarma over bus fare. On Friday, when Hashmi boarded the bus from Faizabad, another dispute over fare arose between them. However, this time, things took a turn as Hashmi pulled out a chopper from his bag and assaulted the conductor.
Vishwakarma’s parents, Ram Shiromani and Phool Patti Devi, are present at the hospital, praying for their son’s recovery.
