Arrests are also being made through intelligence. In this connection, the Kotkapura police team has achieved a major success, arresting five people. All of them were planning to commit crimes.

It has been reported that the Kotkapura City Police Station has arrested five individuals involved in a gang armed with sharp weapons and intent on committing a robbery. All of them were preparing to commit a crime. Furthermore, they were found with weapons that they were planning to use for a robbery.

Giving information in this regard, Sanjeev Kumar, DSP, Sub Division, Kotkapura, told the media that the arrested accused have been identified as Chahat Sharma, resident of Dhanna Basti, Kotkapura, Harsh Kumar, resident of Duareana Road, Kotkapura, Gurpreet Singh, resident of Sher-e-Punjab Nagar, Kotkapura, Akashdeep Singh, resident of Gandhi Basti, Kotkapura, and Amritpal Singh, resident of Panjrai Kalan. He said that one Khanda, one Kirpan, one iron pipe with a handle, one straight Kirpan, and one spear-like tooth have been recovered from them. All of them have been found to be involved in previous crimes.
