Abdullapurmet: Three individuals who initially attempted to present the demise of a scrap vendor as a mere accident in Abdullapurmet now find themselves under arrest on charges of murder.
The Abdullapurmet police reported that T. Ramachander, aged 27, tragically lost his life, while T. Venkatesh sustained injuries when their motorcycle collided with an autorickshaw on a fateful Friday. Ramachander, in particular, suffered severe injuries to his face and head during the incident. In the aftermath, the injured Venkatesh managed to flee from the scene, leaving law enforcement officials to piece together the puzzle.
Subsequently, authorities located the injured Venkatesh, who revealed a startling truth: the incident was not an accident but a calculated attempt on their lives by the accused individuals. The primary suspect, T. Srisailam, a scrap buyer, along with his accomplices, T. Dasharath and T. Lingaswamy, had orchestrated the incident.
According to Venkatesh’s account, Srisailam held a grudge against them for selling scrap to a different buyer, which led him to warn the victims. Srisailam was concerned that other villagers might follow suit and cease conducting business with him.
On the unfortunate Friday, the accused confronted the victims at Batasingaram village, delivering menacing threats to dissuade them from selling scrap to the alternative buyer. Upon learning that the two men were en route on their motorcycle at Mazeedpur, Srisailam and his associates hatched their sinister plan a few hours later. Srisailam, behind the wheel of an autorickshaw, arrived at the location and purposefully collided with the motorcycle, instantly claiming Ramachander’s life.
The apprehension of the accused culminated on Saturday evening, marking a significant development in the ongoing investigation into this chilling incident.
