The child, Sri Teja, who was recently injured in the stampede at the Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 The Rule in Hyderabad, is currently on ventilator support. The hospital has confirmed it. According to authorities, the 8-year-old also has “intermittent fever”.

The woman’s husband filed an FIR, which led to Allu Arjun’s arrest on Friday night. However, the actor was released on interim bail the following morning. Meanwhile, the injured boy, identified as Sri Teja, remains in critical condition at KIMS Cuddles Hospital in Hyderabad.

The Telangana High Court granted bail to Telugu star Allu Arjun, who was released from Hyderabad’s Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning. After a rush broke out following the December 4 screening of “Pushpa 2,” he was taken into custody on Friday in relation to the death of a woman.

Here are 10 updates on Allu Arjun’s arrest

Allu Arjun was taken to Chikkadpally police station after being arrested by the city police on Friday morning. A local court then ordered him to 14 days of judicial imprisonment.

The investigation involves a stampede-like occurrence that occurred during the crowded premiere of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” on December 4, in which a 35-year-old lady died and her 8-year-old kid was injured. To witness the actor, thousands of admirers flocked to the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad.

In reaction to the arrest, the Telangana High Court ordered Allu Arjun to assist with the investigation, stating that an actor cannot be punished merely for their status but should still be held accountable if involved in negligence. After being remanded to judicial custody, the actor’s legal team approached the Telangana High Court for relief, leading to the granting of a four-week interim bail.

However, he was forced to spend the night in jail because the bail order did not reach the prison authorities on time. Media claims that Allu Arjun, prisoner number 7697, spent the night sleeping on the jail floor.

Allu Arjun stated that he is a law-abiding citizen and will assist the authorities in his opening statements upon his release from jail on Saturday morning. “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident,” the actor said.

A political controversy has been sparked by the high-profile issue; Congress members have emphasized that the law applies to everyone, regardless of celebrity status, while BJP and BRS leaders have criticized the actor’s punishment.

Before Allu Arjun was arrested, there were stressful moments when police arrived at his house. Pictures purportedly showed the actor fighting with officers about their approach to his bedroom.

Following an initial complaint from the family of the deceased woman, Allu Arjun, his security detail, and the theater management were charged under the appropriate Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) provisions.

Allu Arjun was not intentionally negligent, according to the actor’s legal team, who also claimed that the theater management had notified the police about the event and asked for security precautions.

Unexpectedly, despite the unfortunate event, the deceased woman expressed no fault with Allu Arjun and that he was willing to drop the complaint against the actor.
