New Delhi: A 20-year-old youth named Sameer met his death through murder in Seelampur, Delhi. Sameer left his residence at night to see his grandmother before fatal gunmen took his life. The unidentified perpetrators attacked him at the very moment when he was just a few steps away from getting there. The police arrived after learning about the shooting and transported Sameer without delay to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. However, the emergency staff informed Sameer showed no signs of life, so doctors marked him as deceased when his corpse reached the hospital.

According to Sameer’s father, Kamaruddin, his son departed home during dinner before receiving a report about his death by gunfire. The police remain silent about the investigation of this incident. The investigation team conducts CCTV footage analysis across nearby areas to find perpetrators who might have reasons for committing this murder.

Delhi witnesses an increasing surge of violent incidents at this time. On April 17, Kunal became the victim of a fatal stabbing in J-Block Seelampur, located in North-East Delhi, when the perpetrators killed him at 7:38 PM. After the assault took place at 7:38 PM, people living in the area became tense and demanded that authorities take strong action against the criminals.

The repeated killings that took place over a short few-day timeframe have created urgent worries about the safety of people in Delhi. People in the area want systematic and strong measures to stop escalating crime frequencies, besides seeking absolute protection for every citizen.
