On Thursday, the prices of gold and silver have once again seen a rise across the country. While a day earlier there was a slight decline in gold and a rise in silver, today 24 carat gold has reached the level of ₹ 1,00,920 per 10 grams. This is an increase of ₹ 560 compared to yesterday, as its price on June 18 was ₹ 1,00,360.

Talking about 22 carat gold, its price has now become ₹ 92,510 per 10 grams, while 18 carat gold is trading at ₹ 75,700 per 10 grams. This increase is being seen due to increased demand in the domestic market and rise in gold prices at the international level.

Over the past 20 years, the yellow metal has skyrocketed by an impressive 1,200 per cent from ₹7,638 in 2005 to over ₹1,00,000 in 2025 (till June), and delivered positive returns in 16 of these years. Looking ahead two years, gold’s win rate remains strong according to the data trends, with average gains nearing 100 per cent.

Reasons for rise in gold and silver prices (Gold-Sliver Price)

The reasons behind this rise in gold and silver prices include global economic uncertainty, fluctuations in crude oil, and weakness in the rupee against the dollar. Experts say that if this trend continues, gold and silver prices may go even higher in the coming days.
