On Friday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took time to thank the state electorate with a lot of emotion after NDA emerged throughout the assembly elections with a resounding win. Referring to the verdict as a landslide to the ruling party, Kumar stated that it was the trust and confidence that people had invested in the ruling party governance and development agenda.
Kumar in the initial response following the huge victory thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has always stood by and said that his BJP-JDU alliance was in full union all through the campaign. According to him, the combined efforts of all NDA associates was a vital factor in winning the trust of voters in the state of Bihar.
Nitish Kumar once again committed his involvement of improving the growth curve in Bihar saying that even in the next few years the state would move even higher. He insisted that the new administration would strive in such a way that Bihar will be among the most developed states of India in terms of infrastructure, education, healthcare, employment and welfare programmes.
He further pointed out that with this decisive mandate came with him a bigger responsibility of ensuring that he delivers on what the people expect. Kumar promised that the NDA government would operate with fresh purpose to carry on with development projects, enhance governance and empower the society in all quarters.
Celebrations went on at party offices, Nitish Kumar again said that it was to people of Bihar who had won and his government, first and foremost, would repay their faith by ensuring their development, which would be consistent and inclusive.
