BJP MLA Purandar Mishra has adamantly responded to the Congress’s accusations that names were removed from the Mahtari Vandana Yojana list because of the required e-KYC process. In response, Mishra stated, “It’s Congress’s birthright to blame others. Even if the government is doing good work, Congress has to protest it.”

He asserted that e-KYC is a necessary administrative function to guarantee transparency and accountability in the administration of the scheme. “If the Congress party has a problem with living up to the e-KYC verification, Congress should be embarrassed. For the last two years, the recipients have been receiving Mahtari Vandana Yojana funds without interruption. Our government is based on the principle of Antyodaya — serving the last person in line,” Mishra stated.

Responding to the problem with employees protesting prior to the paddy procurement season, the BJP member of the assembly stated that the state government will continue to work for farmers. “The BJP is a farmer-friendly government. The procurement process will take place as scheduled. Strikes do not last forever, but administration by Chief Minister Sai will seek to get everything right,” he stated.

Mishra expressed appreciation to Home Minister Vijay Sharma for meeting with the mothers.
