Bihar Elections: As brisk voting for the final round of voting continues in Bihar, the turnout at 11 am stood at 31.38%, with Kishanganj leading the charts with 34.74% turnout, followed by Gaya at 34.07% and Jamui at 33.69%. Meanwhile, leaders of the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and ruling NDA alliance are making big statements, with both sides exuding confidence of winning the polls.
According to data from the Election Commission of India (ECI), the polling is being held at 45,399 polling stations in Bihar — 5,326 of them in urban areas and 40,073 in rural areas. More than half the electorate (2.28 crore) are aged between 30 and 60 years. Only 7.69 lakh are in the 18-19 years age group. The total number of women voters in these 122 constituencies is 1.75 crore.
