Bhopal: On the festival of Bhai Dooj, a program will be held today at the Chief Minister’s residence, where women will participate. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will welcome them with a shower of flowers and will bestow ₹1,500. CM Yadav also shared a tweet on X, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all on the sacred festival of Bhai Dooj. The sisters’ wish for their brothers’ progress and long life is like nectar. This holy festival of love and devotion deepens the sweet bond between brothers and sisters. May sweetness remain eternal in all your lives; this is the auspicious wish”.
Programs will be organized at the Chief Minister’s residence at 12 noon. Ladli sisters will now get Rs. 1500 instead of Rs. 1250 every month. Till now, an amount of Rs. 44,917.92 crore has been transferred to the accounts of the sisters under the Ladli Behna Yojana. One crore 27 lakh Ladli sisters of the state are getting the amount. Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria, Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Krishna Gaur and MLA and State President Hemant Khandelwal will be present in the program to be held today on Thursday.
Today’s program of CM
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend several programs today. He will arrive at the Secretariat at 10:40 am, where he will attend a cabinet meeting at 11:00 am. At 12:00 pm, he will participate in the Bhai Dooj program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. At 4:30 pm, he will hold a meeting regarding Samadhan Online.
A cabinet meeting will be held in MP today. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, will begin at 11:30 am in the ministry. 13 points will be discussed, including the implementation of the urban re-densification plan and two health department issues. Several important decisions are expected to be approved in today’s cabinet meeting.
Tribal Exhibition till October 30
The 65th annual exhibition of works by Gond tribal artist Dinesh Shyam has been organized at the Tribal Museum in Bhopal. The exhibition will be on view in the “Likhandra Exhibition Gallery” every day from Tuesday to Sunday until October 30, 2025.
