CG Morning News : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is arriving in Raipur today for a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. He will arrive at 8 pm on Friday and head directly from the airport to the Hotel Mayfair Resort in Nava Raipur. He will rest there overnight and depart the hotel the next day, October 4th, at 11 am, for a special flight to Jagdalpur. He will offer prayers at the Maa Danteshwari Temple in Jagdalpur and then attend the Muria Darbar program.

CM Sai inaugurates development works to Arang

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will be on a tour of the Arang Assembly constituency today. According to the scheduled program, the Chief Minister will participate in the Policy Watch India Foundation Program organized at the Shaheed Smarak Bhawan on Friday at 11:30 am. After this, he will depart for Bhandarpuridham in Arang by helicopter at 12:40 pm. At 1:00 pm, he will participate in the “Guru Darshan and Sant Sammelan Mela” organized by the Satnami community here. He will also perform the groundbreaking ceremony for development projects worth crores of rupees. At 7:30 pm, he will leave the Chief Minister’s residence and head to Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur. 

Blood donation camp in the jail premises today

Raipur. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the State Foundation Day (Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee 2025), jail officials and staff are organizing a one-day blood donation camp on October 3rd at the Central Jail campus. Director General of Prisons Himanshu Gupta will be the chief guest. The camp will begin at 10 am.

Organising Marathi Sohla (fair)

Raipur. A three-day Marathi Sohala (fair) is being organized from October 3rd to 5th to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Maharashtra Mandal. Veteran Marathi stand-up comedian Deepak Deshpande will entertain the audience with laughter on Friday at 7 p.m. Cultural Committee coordinator Prem Upvanshi explained that Deepak Deshpande, a resident of Solapur and the first comedian on Zee Marathi’s popular reality show, is particularly known for imitating the voices of several Marathi film industry figures, including Neelu Phule, Ashok Saraf, Shriram Lagoo, Laxmikant Birde, and politician Sharad Pawar. His reach among the general public is due to his keen observation. Each day of the three-day Maharashtra Mandal festival will feature unique programs.
