Active monsoon conditions have already been experienced in several of the districts in Chhattisgarh ahead of the development of a new weather system over the Bay of Bengal on October 1. Most parts of the state received light to moderate rainfall during the last 24 hours. Durg had the hottest temperature of 32.8 °C. Further rainfall is also forecast by the Meteorological Department today, with heavy showers that may occur in some places.
Multiple Districts Rainfall Alert.
Various districts have been put on a yellow alert, which means that there is a possibility of moderate rainfall. They are North Bastar Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Gariaband, Mahasamund, Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Janjgir-Champa, Bilaspur, Durg, Bemetara, Kabirdham, and Mungeli. The people living in these districts have been encouraged to monitor the weather bulletins in the area.

The Meteorological Department also reported that the following areas had received a lot of rain: Marine Bangla Deori, 11 cm; Rajnandgaon, Bade Bacheli, and Chhotedongar, 8 cm; Doundilohara and Durgukondal and Ambagarh Chowki, Arjunda and Tongpal, 7 cm; Kondagaon, Doundi, Makri, Chhindgarh, and Kumarda, 6 cm. In other regions like Pithora, Kanker, Farsgaon, Dhanora, Khadgaon, Manpur, Aundhi, Gunderdehi, Chhuriya, and Dantewada registered 5 cm to a little below.
Weather in Raipur
On a day-to-day basis, cloudy conditions are anticipated in the capital city of Raipur. The highest temperature can range at about 33 C, and the lowest can be at about 25 C.
Planned and Future Weather Systems.
