Indore: A major accident occurred on Monday in the Ranipura area on Jawahar Marg in Indore. Suddenly, a three-story building collapsed. Its loud sound shook the entire area and created chaos everywhere. According to information so far, 9 people have been pulled out of the debris and admitted to MY Hospital in critical condition. According to doctors, the condition of all the injured remains critical and their treatment is ongoing.
Upon receiving news of the accident, Indore Collector Shivam Verma, Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, and Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, teams from the SDRF, Fire Brigade, and Municipal Corporation are continuously engaged in relief and rescue operations. There are fears that more people may be trapped under the debris.
Locals say that cracks were already visible in the building, and the rain worsened the situation. The exact cause of the accident is currently unclear. Following the accident, panic gripped the entire area. Police and administration are continuously carrying out rescue operations.
