Ayodhya. After the Prime Minister of Bhutan, the Prime Minister of Mauritius will be on a visit to Ramnagari Ayodhya. Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam will reach Ayodhya today i.e. 12th September. Many important agreements have been reached between the two countries in the bilateral talks of Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi.

Earlier PM Modi shared significant moments from the meeting with his Mauritian counterparts. The list of MoUs/ Agreements signed included MoU on Cooperation in the field of Science and Technology, Power Sector, and personal training. The two nations have also agreed regarding Indian grant assistance for the Implementation of Phase II of small development projects.

 Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam will reach Ayodhya on Friday i.e. today, and will have darshan of Ram Lalla. Grand preparations are being made at the administrative level to welcome him in Ayodhya. Minister in charge Surya Pratap Shahi said that special arrangements have been made to welcome Prime Minister Ram Goolam.

This is the second time after the Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha in January 2024 that a foreign head of state will visit Ayodhya. Earlier on September 5, Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay also visited Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The arrival of two foreign leaders in Ayodhya in the same month reflects the growing international identity and cultural importance of Ramnagari.
