The battle for late industrialist Sunjay Kapur’s estate is heating up, with his children from his first marriage to actor Karisma Kapoor suing their stepmother, Priya Sachdev Kapur. They claim their stepmother has excluded them from their father’s will, which is worth a staggering ₹30,000 crore. Notably, Karisma Kapoor is representing her children in the legal proceedings, though she isn’t a plaintiff herself.

Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court seeking their rightful share in their late father’s ₹30,000 crore estate. Samaira, 20, and Kiaan, 14, have stated in their plea that their late father had ‘repeatedly assured’ them of their share.

The plaintiffs are the daughter and minor son of Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur. They are represented in court through their mother, Karisma.

Sunjay Kapur, the former chairman of Sona Comstar, died unexpectedly in June 2025 while playing polo in Windsor, UK.

His business empire and personal assets are valued around Rs 30,000 crore. Following his demise, Priya Sachdeva informed Karisma Kapoor’s children, daughter Samaira (20) and son Kiaan (15), that there was no will.
