Khairagarh: The outbreak of diarrhea is increasing in Khairagarh. Two people died of diarrhea in the last 24 hours. The deceased include two people including a woman. After this, there is panic in the entire area.
According to the information, every day a large number of patients suffering from vomiting and diarrhea are being admitted to hospitals. The civil hospital is full due to the increasing number of patients. On the other hand, the local people say that the drains in the city are clogged for months and the streets are filled with filth. Dirty water is coming out of the taps. Repeated complaints were made to the Nagar Palika but only assurances were received in the name of action.
Khairagarh MLA Yashoda Neelambar Verma had visited the Civil Hospital and met the patients. She had publicly blamed the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department for negligence. Meanwhile, the Medical Officer of the Civil Hospital, Dr. Pankaj Vaishnav said that the main cause of diarrhea is contaminated drinking water.
