New Delhi: Five Delhi schools, including BGS International Public School in Dwarka Sector 5, were the target of a bomb threat on Thursday morning, prompting an immediate police and fire department response. Officials said teams are on the spot and investigations are underway. For the unversed, this marks the third such incident this week.

Earlier on Wednesday, over 50 schools across the capital received bomb threat emails. Among the targeted institutions were SKV Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Karol Bagh, according to police. While on Monday, over 30 schools across Delhi received similar threats, which later turned out to be hoaxes.

Sources claim that the bomb threats on Wednesday via e-mail were from the same group named ‘Terrorizers 111’ that had sent the mail on Monday. In the threat mail, which was sent to schools on Tuesday night, the group demanded 2,000 Dollars in cryptocurrency. The mail also demanded the transfer of money to an Ethereum address, adding that the bombs would be detonated within 48 hours otherwise.
