Raipur: It is an eventful day of the political and cultural calendar of Chhattisgarh when Chief Minister Sai leads a set of important meetings and other occasions and programs at the Mahanadi Bhawan and Mantralaya. He would head a cabinet meeting at noon, and this is symbolic since it is before a first foreign tour. Areas that the cabinet is anticipated to discuss include major proposals touching on the agricultural sector, manufacturing, female empowerment, and education of which continue to occupy the center of the state in its developmental process.

CM Sai will also conduct a conference with all the district collectors of the state after the session of cabinet session. In this meeting, he will get to know the development progress and evaluate presentations which are based on education and health. The discussions will most likely determine the direction of policy implementation within districts to achieve conformity to the vision of the government of inclusive development.

The Khel Alankaran Samaroh (Sports Felicitation Ceremony), much hoped-of to be held on August 29, has since been ordered to delay to September 3, as the Chief Minister now has to attend a tour abroad. The occasion will see CM Vishnudev Sai on stage with former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh. The Minister of Sports, Tankaram Verma, will be the master of the ceremony as the program will host high-performing athletes in different sports disciplines in Chhattisgarh.

There are also multiple parallel events on the cultural front being held in the capital as well. At Samta Colony, the Shikarpuri Mahila Mandal is going to have an eco-friendly workshop at 4 p.m. in the Panchayat Bhawan. The training will equip the participants in the making of clay Ganesh idols, focusing on sustainable celebrations and conserving the environment; so far, close to 35 people have registered.

Also, in the course of Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav festivities, the Directorate of Archaeology, Archives, and Museums shall organize an exhibition commemorated as Azaadi ki Gadh-Gatha in the Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum at 10 a.m.
