A case of firing has come to light again at the cafe of famous comedian Kapil Sharma. This is the second time in a month that a firing has taken place at Kap’s cafe. This cafe was attacked on the second day of its opening in Canada. After this, there has been another firing incident. Now, Surrey Police has issued its statement in this matter.
Surrey Police has started an investigation into the firing at Kapil Sharma’s cafe. Giving its statement on this, Surrey Police said – ‘There was firing at Kapil Sharma’s Caps Cafe in the morning. Police have started investigating this matter. Surrey Police Service (SPS) officers are investigating the incident that happened this morning. This case has come to light for the second time in a month. On August 7, 2025, at around 4:40 pm, SPS frontline officers received information about a firing outside a cafe in the 8400 block of 120 Street. After the information, the police reached the spot and started action. A similar incident also came to light on July 10, 2025.
Several resources of the SPS police and teams of the Delta Police Department reached the spot after the firing at Kapil Sharma’s cafe. The police team said that after the firing, it seems that the windows and the cafe have been damaged by the bullets, but no employee of the cafe has been injured and everyone is fine.
This is the second time that the cafe has witnessed violence. Earlier on July 11, cafe was shot multiple rounds of gunfire were aimed at the cafe, but no injuries have been reported. Today morning, in a note on Instagram as posted on its story, the eatery – located in Surrey, British Columbia – said that the incident has left them shocked and even as they process the same, they won’t be giving up and will stand firm against violence.
This gang took responsibility
After this firing, a post has also surfaced on social media, stating Goldie Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi gang have taken responsibility for the firing at Kapil Sharma’s cafe. Apart from this, Kapil Sharma has also been openly threatened in a post that if he does not pick up the phone, then next time there will be firing at his Mumbai house.
