The social media activities of the soldiers deployed in the operations are becoming a major reason for the leak of the strategy of the operation. Even after the death of top Naxal leader like Basavaraju, there has been no decrease in the technical and intelligence activities of the organization. The Naxal press notes being issued continuously are confirming that they are keeping a close eye on the strategy of the police. Not only this, they are also selectively targeting the villagers who are informing.
Only two out of seven operations were successful
According to police sources, more than 7 operations were launched in the last two months, but only two of them were successful. In the operation carried out on the Maharashtra border in Narayanpur, 6 Naxalites were killed, but for this too, continuous pursuit in the mountains and forests for two days was required.
Social media accounts are being identified
IG Bastar Sundarraj P admitted that the activity of the soldiers on social media is now causing a breach in security. He has issued clear instructions that all such social media accounts should be identified and banned, which are doing video shooting or other activities during the operation.
Violation of operation protocol
The IG also said that on many occasions, information has been received about video recording by the soldiers during the encounter itself, which is not only a violation of the operation protocol, but can also put the entire team at risk. In such a situation, now the police headquarters has now issued strict instructions that action will be taken against the concerned soldiers for violating the rules.
