Mumbai: Bollywood is on the buzz with news that two of its most intriguing actors, Ranveer Singh and Bobby Deol, are said to be teaming up for a significant upcoming project. This much-awaited team-up will be their first time on screen together, and promises to be a new and charged development for viewers.
Sources from the development have come out to state that both actors are going through intense physical makeovers for their characters, signaling a departure from their last on-screen personas.
A master at creating dramatic makeovers, Ranveer Singh, known for his high-octane energy and complete engagement in characters, has himself stunned audiences previously with his makeovers for movies such as “Padmaavat” and “Simmba.”
Ranveer will soon be seen in Dhurandhar. The first look of the project was unveiled on Ranveer’s 40th birthday earlier this month. The film will also star 20-year-old actor Sara Arjun. The film is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. Apart from Ranveer and Sara, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. It is believed that the film is based on the life of Indian super spy and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, who is known for surgical strike.
Not to be left behind is Bobby Deol, who recently received widespread appreciation for his brutal act in Animal, and has demonstrated his dedication to powerful physical performances. Their combined commitment implies that the audience can look forward to a whole new visual experience from both artists. An industry insider who wished to remain unnamed said, “After Ranbir Kapoor, now Bobby Deol is coming with Ranveer Singh. With such exceptionally talented stars joining forces, this is going to be a massive project.”
