A four-storey building has collapsed in Welcome area of North-East area of Delhi, in which 12 people are trapped under the debris. 7 teams of the fire department are active for rescue work, which are trying to evacuate people safely. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, and the relief is that no loss of life has been reported so far. The fire department got information about this accident at 7:05 am on Saturday, after which the fire brigade and Delhi Police immediately started rescue work.
The incident is from Seelampur area, where a four-storey building suddenly collapsed in Janta Colony on Idgah Road on Saturday morning. This incident created panic in the area, after which the fire department and police were immediately informed. As soon as the information was received, the fire department team reached the spot and 7 teams started rescue work. So far 3 people have been rescued from the debris, while 12 others are feared to be trapped. The rescued people have been sent to the hospital for treatment.

During this process, they rescued three persons safely from under the debris and immediately rushed them to the hospital. The local people along with the fire department are engaged in removing the debris, carefully removing every brick and searching for life. The fire department has informed that there is a possibility of more people being buried under the debris at the accident site.
