Durg city MLA Gajendra Yadav was admitted to the hospital on Friday morning after collapsing while playing badminton outside his house. It happened when he was having his early morning routine activity with friends, and he suddenly felt dizzy and passed out. He has been admitted to Arogyam Hospital in Durg immediately. The doctors have confirmed that his condition has now stabilised and he has been advised to rest and get enough sleep.
Sources close to the MLA revealed that Yadav had no underlying health problems and was into his daily morning workout routine. Onlookers were alarmed by the fall; however, the immediate medical help made sure there were no serious injuries. Medics are in the process of treatment and are observing his progress.
A steady flow of political leaders, both from the BJP and Congress, came to the hospital after the news of his hospitalization to enquire about his health. These included BJP district presidents, general secretaries, Mayor Alka Baghmar, municipal councillors, and senior Congress leader and former Durg MLA Arun Vora. The leaders met and talked to doctors to know about the condition of Yadav and hoped that he would recover soon.
Coincidentally, these incidents come on the birthday of MLA Gajendra Yadav, who had also hosted an event on June 14 with RSS speaker Pushpendra Kulshrestha. This has raised concern among his supporters and the people that he represents in the parliament. His condition at the moment is a relief.
According to hospital sources, there is no cause for alarm and that Yadav should be coming out soon as long as he keeps resting according to the directions of the medical team. The wishes for a quick recovery are still coming in from the political community and the public.
