New Delhi: In his first public address since the outbreak of the India-Pakistan conflict, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the nation. The conflict began last week with Operation Sindoor, India’s response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which targeted terrorist elements operating from Pakistan. The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) from both India and Pakistan concluded their discussions for the day on Monday.
He stated, “When Indian missiles and drones attacked those sites in Pakistan, it was not just the buildings of the terrorist organisations but their courage also shook.” He further said the deep-rooted nature of terror emanating from Pakistan, adding, “Terrorist sites like Bhawalpur and Muridke were the universities of global terrorism. All big terrorist attacks in the world, including 9/11 or big terrorist attacks in India, are somehow or the other connected to these terrorist sites…”
