India neutralises Pak drones and Missiles Aimed at 15 cities
In a major escalation, Pakistan attempted to target military installations across 15 cities in northern and western India between late Thursday and early Friday, 8–9 May.
This came a day after the Indian Armed Forces carried out precision strikes on nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and PoK on 7 May.
The targeted cities included Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai and Bhuj.
In response, Indian forces responded by targeting and neutralising Pakistani Air Defense Radars and systems in several locations, including Lahore.
Pakistani forces used drones and Missiles that were disabled by India's HARPY drones to destroy Pak air defences.
The Russian-made S-400 defence system was also used to shoot down incoming missiles.
Debris from the destroyed drones and missiles is being collected and will form part of the evidence in support of India's charges against Pakistan.
