MP Weather Alert: Amidst the scorching heat in Madhya Pradesh, rain has brought some coolness to the weather. It will rain in the state for the next three days. An alert has been issued in 12 districts including Ashoknagar-Guna. There is a possibility of strong storm and rain in 20 districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, apart from three cyclonic circulations, two turfs are also passing through the state. Due to this the weather has changed. There is a possibility of strong storm and rain in the state for the next three-four days i.e. till May 7.
A warning of hailstorm along with rain has been issued in Ashoknagar, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria and Dindori in the state on Sunday. Yesterday, on Saturday, there was a dust storm in Bhopal, while rain and hail fell in many districts. Narsinghpur district remained the hottest. The day temperature here was recorded at 43.8 degrees Celsius.

Earlier on Saturday, the weather suddenly changed in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. There was a dust storm in Bhopal in the evening and drizzle in many areas of the city. At the same time, strong storm and rain in Tikamgarh at around 3 pm brought darkness during the day. During this time, trees fell at many places and power supply also had to be stopped due to bad weather. Rain and hail fell with strong winds in Gotegaon of Narsinghpur, while there was storm and light rain for more than half an hour in Ganjbasoda of Vidisha.
