Raipur: The western disturbance lies in the form of a trough in the mid-troposphere at 77 degrees east and 32 degrees north. Along with this, a north-south trough extends from Vidarbha to Gulf of Mannar at about 0.9 km height. Besides this, another low-pressure trough extends from Uttar Pradesh to Bangladesh at about 0.9 km height. The weather has changed once again in Chhattisgarh.
The temperature is fluctuating in the state. There will be relief from the scorching heat and the disturbing hot winds like Loo. The weather department has predicted rain and strong winds today. There may also be thunder and hailstorm in some areas. Due to this change in weather, a drop of 3-4 degree Celsius in the maximum temperature is possible. On Sunday, the maximum heat was felt in Durg, where the temperature was recorded at 42.4 degree Celsius.

In the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded at one or two places. The highest maximum temperature of 42.4°C was recorded in Durg and the lowest minimum temperature of 21.1°C was recorded in Jagdalpur.
The sky is expected to be partly cloudy in Raipur city on Monday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius.
