The wait is almost over for lakhs of students who appeared for the CBSE exam and are waiting for their CBSE board results this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to announce the Class 10th Results 2025 soon on its official website — cbse.gov.in. While the board has not yet confirmed the exact date and time, past trends suggest that the results are likely to be declared by mid-May.
While there are speculations about the CBSE board results date being either May 2 or May 12, the board has not officially confirmed any date yet. Based on past trends, the results have been declared around the second week of May, with last year’s results announced on May 13, 2024, and the previous year on May 12, 2023. This year, over 44 lakh students appeared for the exams, which were conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025, for various subjects.
The CBSE board results for both classes 10 and 12 are expected to be declared on the same day, following the recent pattern. Students will be able to check their results on official portals such as cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in using their roll number, school number, and date of birth. Along with the results, the board will also release toppers’ lists and pass percentage statistics. Students are advised to keep their admit cards handy for quick access once the results are announced.
This time, over 44 lakh students appeared in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations conducted between February 15 and March 18, 2025. As students eagerly await their results, it’s time to know the most likely date around which CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam results will be announced, as per past year trends.
Last year, CBSE Class 10th board results and Class 12 results were announced on May 13. The pass percentage of Class 10 in 2024 stood at of 93.60 percent while Class 12 registered 87.98% pass percentage. The results this year are also expected to follow a similar timeline while pass percentage may differ. In 2023, the results were announced on May 12.
