At least six workers died after an explosion at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Anakapalli district. Tuhin Sinha, SP Anakapalli, said that the explosion in the fireworks manufacturing plant took place in Kailasapatnam in the Kotavuratla mandal of the Anakapalli district.
According to local reports, seven others have been seriously injured in the accident and were taken to a hospital in Narsipatnam.
Police officials and emergency services have been rushed to the scene after the accident. Meanwhile, the rescue operations have been underway.
