The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has approved the purchase of 26 Rafale Marine Fighter Jets for the Indian Navy. Under this agreement, the Navy will get 22 single-seater and 4 twin-seater Rafale Marine aircraft, which will be deployed on the aircraft. After this decision, the Defense Ministry will now complete the process of agreement with the French government. This deal will be finalized and signed soon. Under the deal, Indian Navy personnel will also be trained to fly and handle Rafale M. Apart from this, it also includes maintenance of the jet, logistical support, training of naval personnel, and a special plan for some parts to be made in India.
