Morena: In a shocking incident, a group of armed miscreants stormed a medical store at KS Square in the Civil Lines police station area, where they started firing indiscriminately. The act was filmed on CCTV cameras. The shopkeeper said that the attackers held a gun against his temple and looted thousands of rupees from the cash counter as well as two gold chains.

On the other side, after the incident, the distressed medical store owner, Devendra Kushwaha, along with local villagers, surrounded the Civil Lines police station to protest and seek prompt action. Kanhaiya Medical Store is run by Devendra, a resident of Nivi village near KS Square. He added that five to six miscreants locked themselves into the shop, used foul language, and turned to physical assault. After that, they fired two to three pistol shots made in the country, leading to panic in the area as people scurried for safety.

One of the attackers banged a gun against the head of Devendra and beat him, he further said. The four to five unidentified people were robbed along with the miscreants of their gold chains. According to the police, the miscreants are identified as Deepu Chhavai, Kallo Chhavai, Akash. Additionally, they looted around ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 from the shop’s cash register and fled the scene.

To this, the victim and a few locals head to the Civil Lines police station for justice. The matter has been recognized by the police, and an investigation is being conducted. The accused is being tracked down by the officials, who are analyzing the CCTV footage and conducting raids. Locals have been clear that they find the incident outrageous, rising fears over law and order in the towns.
