Lucknow. The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is starting from today. The budget session will begin with the address of Governor Anandiben Patel. The Governor’s address will be discussed in the House on Wednesday, 19 February. After discussing the address, the state’s Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna will present the budget on 20 February.
For the first time in the UP Legislative Assembly, the members can use Awadhi, Bhojpuri, Braj, and Bundeli, along with English and dialects, to conduct assembly proceedings. The budget session may be tumultuous. The Samajwadi Party and the Congress will try to corner the Yogi government over unemployment, inflation, and the Maha Kumbh stampede.
In the assembly session (UP Budget Session), Congress has made a strategy to corner the BJP government on the issue of Maha Kumbh and caste census. According to Congress spokesperson Anshu Awasthi, many irregularities have been seen in the BJP government. For example, despite the allocation of budget, development works were not done properly. While now many departments are returning more than half of their budget. Apart from this, Congress will try to corner the Yogi government on the issue of conducting caste census and the problems of farmers and the chaos in Maha Kumbh. Along with this, in the assembly session, Congress will raise the issue of making contract employees permanent.
Samajwadi Party also made a strategy
Here, the Samajwadi Party is also preparing to corner the Yogi government in the House. According to the information, the opposition is preparing to corner the government on many issues including not releasing the data of deaths in the stampede in Maha Kumbh, caste census, arbitrariness of officers, condition of farmers. Regarding which a meeting of the SP Legislature Party was also held. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has made a strategy to corner the Yogi government during the budget session. In the meeting, he has given necessary guidelines to the SP MLAs.
